A separate building provides a complete office setup with high-speed WiFi, multiple desks, monitors, a printer, and a kitchenette — ideal for productive remote work and longer stays.
ROOMS AND GARDEN
The first floor of the villa consists of a living and dining room with lake views, a modern kitchen, and a guest bathroom. The second floor has three well-appointed bedrooms, also with spectacular lake views. Two bedrooms have queen-size beds (1.60 x 2.00 m) and one has a double bed (1.40 x 2.00 m). All bedrooms have air-conditioning. Two full bathrooms are on the second floor, one large with bathtub and shower and another smaller one with shower.
The separate air-conditioned cottage in the garden offers on the first floor a double bedroom suite with separate living room and full bathroom. The ground floor, also air-conditioned, offers a large and fully equipped holiday office with kitchen pantry, bathroom, desk, internet, printer and monitor as well as fitness equipment (stepper).
The garden offers a panoramic view of the lake and Gardone Riviera. Cypress, palm, olive, cedar and fig trees provide shade. The terrace with an exquisite Italian marble table seats 8 and offers morning sun and afternoon shade. The wicker garden furniture and lounge chairs provide comfortable seating to enjoy the panoramic lake views and the delightful scent of flowers. The highlight is the lakeside edge of the garden, where you can enjoy sunsets and cocktails with friends and family. In the garden you will also find a newly created garden shower.
Careful treatment of the listed villa is our top priority and so our renovations have preserved the historic character of the villa. It is our family vacation home and we welcome guests who appreciate its unique charm.
GARDONE RIVIERA
Gardone Riviera is a town located on the western shore of Lake Garda in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is known for its picturesque setting, mild Mediterranean climate and beautiful gardens. The town is situated on a hillside and offers breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Gardone Riviera is considered one of the most beautiful small towns in Italy (borghipiubelliditalia.it/borgo/gardone-riviera/).
One of the main attractions in Gardone Riviera is the Vittoriale degli Italiani, a large complex of buildings and gardens that was once the home of Italian poet Gabriele d'Annunzio. The complex includes a museum, a theater and a chapel, and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Gardone Riviera is also home to several beautiful villas and gardens, such as the ‘Il Giardino Botanico Fondazione André Heller’ (André Heller Foundation Botanical Garden), which is open to the public. The attractions, restaurants, and lakeside promenade of Gardone Riviera are within walking distance.
Gardone Riviera is a popular tourist destination, especially in the summer months, thanks to its mild climate and numerous outdoor activities. There are also many shops, restaurants and cafes in the town center that offer local specialties and a variety of international cuisine.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
The lake and surrounding mountains invite you to enjoy a wide range of activities, including swimming, hiking, boating, hang-gliding, windsurfing, and mountain biking.
Villa Serendipità does not have its own swimming pool, but a free public beach is only a 10-minute walk away (800 m). Another beach club with an entrance fee is located 1.3 km from the villa (about 15 minutes on foot). Portable loungers are provided for your convenience.
The famous Vittoriale degli Italiani is just a 3-minute walk, and the André Heller Botanical Garden can be reached in 10 minutes.
